Hi all! Just expanded my sulcata enclosure. Have 3 sections to it now. In the new section I am doing majority grasses, but the corners or some of the side borders (using long thinner planters of some sort, tall enough to prevent tortoise sabotage) I wanted edible plants to hang down. I was thinking ice plant, but the one I had died in our 2nd frost.... there are other ice plants to look at I guess.

Not an ice plant, but lavatera does really well here. I plant it, make a basin for water, and encircle the area with slumpstone block to keep the tortoise from destroying it. After a couple of years you can remove the blocks.
