Would this be suitable for my russian tortoise to go outside in during the day?
Below is the item description as well as 2 photos

Thanks in advance

5' X 3' Tortoise / Rabbit / Guinea Pig Run with Shelter Hut

( 14" High )

This run is made with 2" x 1" Planed Timber Frame
Screwed together, and cladded with 9mm Plywood and
1/2" X 1/2" Galvanised Wire Mesh
The Hut Area is 36" X 12" and has a roof which is hinged for access, it also comes with a floor.

The hut gives the pet somewhere to hide and shelter.

The Run Area is 36" X 48" and has a lid that lifts off

for easy catching of your pet.

The Door is extra wide for easy access and comes with a ramp , All the run area wire is covered at the bottom with decorative plywood to stop tortoise climbing up the wire and tipping over.

The unit is very strong and built to last.

It comes fully treated

with animal and environment friendly wood preservative.

(you will need to re-treat once a year)

There's too much house area and not enough walking about space. As a temporary movable pen, it's good. As a permanent enclosure, not ideal.

Thanks everyone :)

It's only for occasional use as when we're in the garden (quite often in the summer months) he roams around 'freely'!! It'll only be used when he is in the garden unattended to keep him out of trouble

Like everyone else has said, it looks nice and would be ok for temporary outdoor quarters, but is not big enough for a permanent space.
