Hannah. Ask many questions of any new owner including seeing photos of the tortoises future habitat.
while there are many folks that will do great things for your little friend, there are many that pop in just to grab a free tortoise. We've never seen them before and then we never see them again. Their intentions are not known.

Be very careful and good luck.

Please let potential new owners know that winter is not the best time for them to get to know a baby tortoise. They should have the right habitat already in place, & understand how to adjust temperature, humidity, etc., as well as appropriate foods. Good luck finding a new home for it!

Hi Hannah:

That's a pretty good lookin' baby. Are you asking any money for him?
