5 yr old rescued Sulcata Tortoise seeks new home!!!
5 yr old Sulcata Tortoise rescued from a bar in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks a new home in the temperate climate of California. We will be in town this weekend and she is free to a good home. She needs a home with an outdoor environment. A non-fertilized, secure yard for grazing is a must. This is not a toy or a novelty pet, this is a lifelong commitment. She will live about 80 years and can get as large as 150 pounds! She is currently about the size of a large serving platter. She requires a diet of green veggies (such as mustard greens, collard greens, endive, etc.) and limited fruit. She will graze and eat the grass and weeds growing in your yard as well. She is very friendly and has a funny, loving personality. She likes people and loves to eat out of your hand. She needs a caring companion who understands the needs of the Sulcata Tortoise. She has had a rough life until recently, so please only serious inquires from people who truly want to give her a good home!
