My sulcata started limping like 2 weeks ago.....after a week i started to see red spots on her leg.....she is 1 year old.....and her eating is fine. She mostly eats french beans. The swelling in leg started a week ago. We give her daily 2 soaks. Also she is put regularly under UV basking lamp. It also seems her skin is shedding and in the part of the wound too. I tried putting her in a solution of baking soda and iodisesd salt diluted in water. Nothing is helping much. Can someone suggest something?IMG20220602205025.jpg

It looks like there might be a hair wrapped around that leg. Look at it with a magnifying glass. There are some good tortoise vets in New York. You need to take her to the vet for the peeling skin. Also, after a soak clean all that poop away from her tail

Sulcatas should be mainly eating grass, weeds, leaves, flowers. Beans are also high in protein which is not good for tortoises.

Do you give any supplements? If so, what are they and how often?

Do you see any yellow bumps on the neck of the tortoise? Post a few more photos.
