Hey everyone! I just recently joined a company called CJ's Frogs as the Media director and we sell sulcata tortoises. I am making a care sheet section for sulcatas on our website and I wanted to put two pictures in the site. I would put my Sucata but she is a recuse and has some pyramiding. If you have a nice healthy picture of your sulcata and are willing to give me permission to place it on the site, post it up here and I'll choose the best one! Thank you TFO!

I am not sure what kind you are looking for, I.e. in their natural environment, outside, inside, face front pictures, side pictures. Or anything!

I would also include a picture of a smooth full grown, so people can see what they need to be prepared for.

Yes I need a good pic of an adult. That would help a lot

Ah, yes, I have no adults! Dexter is only 14 months old :). Maybe you could put a picture of a young one and then an adult to show what the third largest species in the world can be! Just an idea, completely your deal. No offense taken if not. Good luck sir!

Congratulations on the new job!

If the company sells sulcata tortoises, can't you just use a pic of one the tortoises the company's selling?

We only have babies right now and I need at least one pic of an adult. We kick off next month so we are still in development. Also I want to see what TFO members have to offer!

You should post your care sheet here (or link to it).

What care are you recommending? Alfalfa pellet substrate? Low humidity?

If the answer is yes and you show a pic of a smooth sully raised in humidity then it will be decieving to the new owners and mis leading.

I'd only offer a picture of my tortoises for a care sheet if I knew I agreed with/used those recommended methods. Others may feel the same.

Since you are running a business, what's in it for the winning photographer and/or tortoise?

Anyways, I think your care sheet should have pictures of the baby sulcatas that you are selling or Hope. Since that's what the buyers are getting, they need to know how to properly care for your products. Also, all the care stuff you mentioned so far is geared more towards babies, since existing pyramiding is irreversible.

Good luck!

I notice a lot of people responding, but only Blake M has provided any pictures. Pics, people, we need pics!

(My baby is slightly pyramided, so not the best representative. I have cute pics from when I'd just gotten her, but she was on sand - don't worry, that's gone - and you don't want to show people the wrong way)

Lots of members have beautiful, smooth torts. Where are the pics???
