Poor doggies! I was expecting SMALL dogs. was surprised at their size. Could have been pretty bad news if tortoise decided to ram the dogs.

Wow, that could have gone so bad. Yet another reason dogs and tortoises should not be allowed to be together.

A few of my Redfoot have eaten a few rats that have attempted to hang out in the night houses.
Although I'm pretty sure it's the same Redfoot.
Feral cats stay far away from him. So do I.

Well I keep trying to Google this and it seems it's not a RARE dilemma. Even though it's a new rescue call for most firefighters, they seem to enjoy the challenge. Or at least the outcome 😜 there's lots of stories like this when I Google this particular one. So don't let your dog go down a tortoise hole.🤗 I kinda think too that a tortoise would love to cozy up with a warm blooded blanky so they just block the way out.😉
