I keep reading there is a big difference between the two tortoises. When I purchased Henry I was told he was a Sulcata, so how do you tell the difference? Do I have an actual Sulcata? Or since he’s so young is it hard to tell the difference? This photo was taking just tonight.

They are one in the same Rich :D Both are common names of Centrochelys sulcata.
The other common name erroneously given to the Sulcata is Spur-thighed tortoise, which happens to be one of the common names of the Greek tortoise and not the Sulcata.
