Swollen neck ?

Sorry to say that I am at a loss as to what is causing the discoloration. Generalized swelling could be due to kidney damage/failure. This kidney problem could be brought on by dehydration from lack of regular soaking over the past several months and exacerbated by injection of products which need to be processed through the kidneys (of which vitamin C would be one).

If there is no swelling anywhere but the neck, I don't know what may be causing it.

How is your tortoise doing now? Please try to respond to the questions asked, because any and all information should be given to us if we are to have the best chance to help! Also can you post a few more pics of the entire tort including underneath. Thanks!

The tortoise is doing well the swelling on the neck has gone down abitt and the purplish color has reduced

Here is a picture of him now but as you can see the skin is peeling from his head and legs is it a indication of growth or some health issues ?

The pyramiding was already there when I bought it
