Those water bowls are dangerous. Many tortoises have flipped into them and drowned. Many will simply avoid them and get dehydrated. You ought to swap it out for something much shallower with shorter sides and sink it into the substrate.

Very cute pic. I have too agree with Tom though. A clay saucer, the kind that goes under flower pots are recommended. Your Boxie will like it too, he'd fit better.

Thank you for the recommendations. From the looks of it you can't tell but her water bowl is not deep at all, it covers half an inch of her, so she definitely can't drown. However, I do think she needs a bigger bowl. I'm a new turtle owner so I am still learning everyday to see what I can work with.
