Tank size for indoor russian tort

Hello im going to be a new tortoise owner soon. Specifically to a Russian tortoise, and i was wondering if I have an ok tank the dimensions are 30 inches long 1 ft wide and 19 inches tall.

No, that’s too small for even a hatchling.
How old is the tortoise you’re getting? Please keep in mind that an adult needs a minimum enclosure size of 8x4 feet.

I wouldn’t start a baby in anything less than 40 gallons, or 3x1.5 feet. However, 4x2 feet would be a lot better, and last a lot longer.

Where will you be getting this tortoise?

For a baby, yes. I would recommend finding a breeder on the forum. I’m not sure if she has babies right now, but @Carol S would be a great choice.
