Kerry is at work and her HabiStat Pulse Proportional Thermostat as arrived, I have set it up for her the probe is in the middle as directed on the set up sheet, i have set it at 80. So the Temp range is now 85 in the hot area 80 in the middle and 70 in the cool end. Is this ok or do i need to turn the heat mat which is in the cool end on too.

I prefer that my warm spot (under the MVB) be just under 90, 85 overall, and high 70/low 80 in the cool end, although I adjust it based on the little guy's behaviors.

In general, the bigger the habitat, the wider the temp range I aim for. In a big 8'x4' habitat, I'll let it run from almost 100 to 70 in the two far ends, but in the Tortarium, which is only 48"x20", the range is much smaller and closer to 85 overall.

She asked me to set it up if it came before she got home lol, The CHE had to be put on timer as it was getting to hot.

The Viv she as is 36x18.5 so i have turned it up to 85 in the centre the cool end had settled at 73 before
