I got a question on a local board to ID this tort. I'm guessing Greek... am I right? If so, what subspecies?

T. I don't seem to be able to get the pics up. Just get a red X. Is it just me?

The images are incredibly large. You should be able to click on the link now to get to the image. I removed the IMG tags.

Thanks Anja. Yep T. it is a Female Greek. What subspecies I am not sure of. Do you have a pic of the back of its shell? Like it is walking away from you (I’m trying to learn the subspecies). Danny??

Hi Tiago,
It is a Greek tortoise, but can't be totally positive of the subspecies without a rear of the carapace shot. It is though one of 3 things, a T.g. antakyensis, T.g.antakyensis/Jordanian cross or a Jordanian.
The pictures are titled Tunsia, so not sure if the person owns this tortoise or found the pictures on the net. Also the grass looks like the grass in Florida. :D

Yeah, Danny at least I was close I thought it looked a lot like mine. But wasn't really positive.(don't want to make a big ID blunder). Good catch on the title I didn't see that nor did I notice the grass. I Learn something everyday, especially from you. Thanks.

ok, thanks for the info Danny. I've passed it along, and asked the guy to post a "rear shot" of the tortoise (he posted the pics as being his...)
I'll keep you guys posted.
T.
