Texas plants? ( Houston)

I live in north Houston Texas and I was wondering what are some plants that can be grown or grow here that I can feed to my Russian tort?

There are many options. Do a search top right and there is a thread about it. I plant dandelion and all kinds of spring mix seeds I buy at Lowes and Home Depot. Also, aloe and prickley pear cactus (the kind without thorns is best). They LOVE hibiscus flowers and nasturtiam flowers as well. Most of this stuff won't grow this late in summer but you can get some to grow come fall as well as in early spring.

you can also, feed fig leaves,mulberry leaves and fruit, grow your own collard greens,turnips greens,squash etc.
