The 2016 North American Box Turtle Conservation Workshop will be held May 19-21 in Urbana, Illinois at the College of Veterinary Medicine on the campus of the University of Illinois. This workshop will have a special focus on box turtle epidemiology. Other areas of interest will be population trends, ecology, life history strategies, and systematics. Box Turtle populations are declining throughout their range. The goal of the workshop is to disseminate information from all of these areas to produce more effective strategies for box turtle conservation. The registration deadline is April 15. See
