How does grass and clover look British?
Well whenever I've been abroad in Europe or the US, the grass had always been a different type which is thick like up to a qtr inch wide and really strong, and I kind of thought clover wouldn't grow in that type of grass. The grass I see abroad is more like the grass in Florida!

We have grass here that is wide like that. I don't know what it's real name is, we always called it "cut grass". Its wider and a bit thicker then regular grasses. I wonder if it's the same as you are talking about, hmmm.

I think it might be called St Augustine grass. Nothing like UK grass which is finer and can be mown to hay.

Where I live we have mainly sedums instead of grass as it's very sandy as we are built onto sand dunes
