My favorite Russian tortoise female Timmy (named by my son) laid a clutch of 3 eggs on March 22nd, and then a second clutch of 3 more on April 7th. She then laid a 3rd clutch SOMEWHERE in the tortoise yard 2 more weeks later that I was unable to find (I could tell by her behavior and tail that she had laid).
Well, after 64 days of incubation, the first of the eggies hatched tonight.
I posted in the RT portion of the forum in more detail, but wanted to show off my baby here, too.
*She* has all the parts she should have, plus some extra scutes. A cute little unique baby!
I am over the moon happy that my Timmy is now a Momma... and am giddy for the other eggs to hatch too!
