Has anyone else been watching this amazing series by Ken Burns?
I've only seen to first two episodes but they are breathtakingly beautiful and full of a lot of great history. I believe you can watch some of them online at PBS.org...

I have been watching it. That guy makes the best series. His work is always so impressive. The one he did on the Civil War was amazing.
I've been watching this series and realized I lived close to Yosemite for 30 years or so and never once went there

Rats! I knew it was coming but forgot to check the TV schedule to see when it was airing. I am a historian by nature and love all things historic, especially Ken Burns documentaries (except the baseball one)! If you ever get the chance, rent "The Donner Party" by Ken's brother Ric. It's spellbinding.

Yes, his documentaries always coverly the subject matter THOROUGHLY. I am just not a baseball fan. Now, if he did one on soccer, I'd not only watch it, I'd buy it!

I usually dislike the 'talking heads' documentaries, but I am really digging this one. Such a cool story!
