This is a photo of my old pen. A few months after I rescued Julio from the flea market.
Right before I added the very sick Big Bertha to the adjoining room.
As it turned out, Berths never spent a day in there. Just her sister, Ruby.
Bertha spent her whole time with me in a hospital pen on my patio and with Dr. K at Broward Avian and Exotic.
Ruby and Bertha then went to fellow member @mfishman

This is the main enclosure that held Julio and a few rescue Redfoot from Miami that later went mostly to @StacieJ . That was a spectacular and colorful group.
The enclosure eventually grew to 320 square feet with two heated night houses. Two cement, self filling pools and an overhead, remote "rain" system.
It was neccesarily to make it feral cat resistant.
It now houses four Redfoot. All thought to be female. Including Julio, Wild Child (the tortoise born out there and not noticed for months) and two other 2 year old rescues.
It is holding up very well. But the wood doesn't look as good anymore.
Maybe I should have painted it?
I credit @Tom for the escape proof door design.
