Thinking of adding another tortoise breed to my household...

I've narrowed it down to either a pair of leopard tortoises or a pair of redfoots.

Anyone who owns any of these two and wants to make a recommendation?

Given your location, I'd go with the redfoots.

I highly recommend you don't get a pair though. Pairs can be very problematic. Get either one, or 3 or more. They do best all alone, but groups are usually fine too.

If you're getting a pair, chances are that you'll need to eventually separate the 2 torts. So why not get one of each? [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
