We will have to look at the exact text of the law, but I am pretty sure it is only illegal to SELL them in CA. You can still possess them and friends can certainly give them away to each other. Its not illegal to send them to your CA friends. You just can't open a store and sell them in CA.

I will definitely look into that. Why can’t our government worry about something else like getting cable TV to Hawaii ?
