to bathe or not to bathe

that is the question......
:) so George is doing really well considering its his first day home and i dont think he's used to such a big enclosure!
he's eaten alot, pooped, basked and now is in his hidey house asleep.
(it's 5.15pm) do i wait until he's awake later (if he wakes up at all today) to bathe him. wake him up and bathe him, or would it be best to leave him be, and do it tomorrow when he emerges?

I always soak mine as soon as arrive. I don't know the circumstance where yours came from, but many of the breeders over here keep them far too dry and dehydrated in my opinion.

Let him sleep then soak him, I know I would not like to be woken up and put into a bath if I was sleepy.
