The poop on a little guy of that size might be similar to mouse droppings. You probably wouldn't be able to see it on the substrate.
That's a mighty pretty little baby!
It's very possible he's eating it before you find it to. They definitely do that.....I know, GROSS!Hey guys I also have a quick question about poop;
I never see poop in his enclosure. It's a mix of reptibark and organic topsoil. Can it be that it's just difficult to see it? I soak him twice daily, no poops. But when I cleaned his enclosure for the first time this week (only had him for seven days) there was definitely smears of something that wasn't soil or reptibark.

Ok thank you for that. I've just seen a lot of back and forth on here regarding UVB so I wasn't sure if maybe the light is too harsh for him.I didn't see much of Darwin, my redfoot, for the first month or so after he came to live with me... I think they hide a fair amount of the time when in a new environment.
Just wanted to update with some pictures. Toki enjoys his time outside in the Florida humidity. View attachment 276249 View attachment 276250 View attachment 276251
Nice tortoise, don't leave him alone like that even for a second though. Way to many birds here in Florida would be happy to make a snack out of him.
