IMG_4489.JPG hey guys, my leopard tortoise is 4.5 months old right now and still smaller than a tennis ball (straight plastron length is 5cm) but I saw an old thread where Tom was able to correctly GUESS the sex of some hatchlings cuz their anal scutes were very obvious. I took a look at Hoppy's scutes today and wanna say it's leaning more towards female but I don't know if this is still considered the in-between hard-to-tell stage. Just curious. I've been thinking about changing his name cuz if he turns out to be a girl, I don't know if Hoppy really suits even though it doesn't really matter cuz it's not like he knows his name lol

Way too early but looking male. Around 2-3 years old you might get flashed if it starts a male. You might not either.
