I just got my tortoise today! He’s a Russian tortoise and I’m so in love. I bought him from a breeder online. When he arrived, I noticed he has something going on on his foot. Does anyone know what this could be? How can I can help him or do I leave it alone? I’m just not sure what it is or what to do. I already contacted the breeder with these photos and asked for help but it’s Friday and I’m scared they won’t respond till Monday. Anyway, he had a bath today and his poop is normal. I’ve offered him food but he didn’t want it and now he’s sleeping. He did come across the country so I’m assuming he’s tired but keeping an eye. Thanks in advance! Greetings... thats just very disappointing to see in a newly received tort! I’m guessing, it was possibly housed with many others and some other tort had a few nips at this one’s leg. Keep it clean. Bath daily. A few dabs of neosporin type antiseptic will help.

Good luck!
