I have two roughly 6-7 month old sulcatas, one named seymour and another named lester. I take them both outside almost daily. I usually don't have to keep too much of an eye on lester because he just eats the grass and runs around but seymour on the other hand... he can not stay away from things he can't eat. Among all the grass and green around him, he goes straight for anything like pebbles, sticks, plastic, strings, tiny toys, anything shiny, sometimes he tries to eat those little fertilizer balls if there is any but i usually put them away from where we fertilize the yard. but yeah can anyone explain why he is obsessed with everything non-edible while lester knows the difference between things he can and cannot eat? thanks!!

What do they eat when they are inside?
What type of heating and lighting are you using inside? Colored bulbs? What type of UV bulb?
How often do you do calcium supplementation?
What substrate are they on indoors?

They are attracted to the color white, red, shades of red, like orange, etc and shiny things. Some more then others. It's just what they do.
