Cute buggers. I don't know much about them, but the pellets and hay/straw you have as their substrate is not good. I would switch it out for something not so drying like dirt, coconut coir or cypress mulch.

Aww thanks! I tried it but they didn't seem to like it :(

I'm going to have another attempt this week with it and see how they get on. I put it in their "bedroom" and they stopped sleeping there, going to put it around their enclosure now and see how they get on again.

They are so adorable. I love waking up every morning to feed them. Just so cute!

Yes, they are very cute. If you just leave the new substrate in there, they will get used to it. It's much better and healthier for them, so don't give in, let them get used to it.
