So, I live in Washington DC, and really want to purchase a Eastern Hermann’s Tortoise. I’ve been searching high and low for a place that sells then but I haven’t gotten any luck.

Does anyone know a pet store in DC, Maryland or Virginia that sells Eastern Hermann’s Hatchings?

It can seem weird at first, but they do perfectly fine being shipped via FedEx. Buying and having one shipped also means you can select a good breeder and insure a good quality hatchling. I've heard lots of good things about Hermanni Haven (same guy also runs Garden State Tortoises) as mentioned above.

Hey there I'm Rockville welcome! Pet stores will have them on and off buuuuuut they may be wild caught, or sick, and definitely not raised correctly which only leads to problems later. Go with Chris and have your baby shipped.....it is much easier!!
