Can someone please identify this tortoise?
My friend says it's a Hermann's, but my Hermann's don't look like this. Mine are a little bit darker and the carapace are a bit more rounder.

I'm not a good one to get advice from on Mediterranean species, but I'm thinking it sort of looks like a marginated.

I don't think that it is a marginated. They have triangles on their plastron. This one here doesn't.
I'd guess hermann's? But I am really not an expert.
Btw: doesn't the tail look a bit strange? It looks swollen somehow..

I'd say its an eastern Hermann's with pretty bad pyramiding and possibly MBD

Hi Laura,

What does a thirsty Tortoise looks like?
She has slight pyramiding.

Yvonne,
Thanks for the heads up on this thread.
Steve and I have already been in contact regarding this tortoise through email.
It is in fact an Eastern Hermann's.
