Hello everyone I have a question. I was wondering around what temperature it would be safe to take my Russian Tortoise outside. I live in Flagstaff AZ and right now winter is ending and the temp is about 45-55 degrees during the day. Please reply thanks.:)

I would recommend waiting until your outdoor temperatures are consistently around 70 degrees and above, then put your tortoise out throughout the warmer summer weather and allow it to be able to slowly acclimate to the cooler weather as it gets here in the fall.

Sorry but I didn't put that I was just taking him outside for short amounts of time not actually moving his enclosure into the outdoors

Is that the temp in the sun? When the sun is out here in the valley ill take my temp gun out. Usually it will be in the 70-80's in the sun as long as the wind isn't blowing...

Yup, around the 70's in AZ is when I take the kids outside for some running around ;)
