Tortoise sleeping and not eating

My tortoise sleeps a lot and today he hasn’t woken up or eaten anything… is it safe for me to wake him and bathe him and give him food?

Or should I let him wake up on his own?

Sometimes he can go 2 days without waking up or food or a drink.

Yes it is okay to wake him.

The tortoise should be up and active daily. If not, something is wrong. Review the care sheet and see if you can figure it out.

My tortoise(tony) doesn’t wake up on his own.. and isn’t eating.

I have to wake him up and then I bathe him for 20 minutes but he goes straight back to sleep and isn’t eating any food.

His basking temp is 36c, so I think he is warm enough…

He’s almost 3, I have uploaded photos

His eyes are swollen but I am currently using eye drops and they seems to have gotten better

Please provide us with the details of the tortoise enclosure, temps and humidity, substrate, diet etc. As well as the type of bulbs you are using. We will be better able to help when we have this information. He certainly needs help.
