My sulcata tortoise was eating her evening meal and then walked over to me and spit up clear liquids on to my hand when I held it out. She was eating tomatoes and bell peppers and lettuce and spinach which she eats regularly and never does this. She soaked for about 30 minutes today as well but was fine. She’s been acting weird and biting at her legs and neck and her pee has been brown so I bright her to the vet he said it’s probably a uti and gave her a shot of Enrofloxacine. I was supposed to bring her back for two more shots but after the shot she looked terrible and slept for almost a solid 20 hours before waking up for about 15 minutes and going back to sleep. I read that shot is only meant for dogs and cats. She has been much more active and hasn’t been biting since she recovered from the shot. What should I do?
