I hate to be a downer on this one, but they were being kept as a male pair, which we all know not to be a good living situation for either tortoisedon’t get me wrong, I feel terrible for their owner! And hope he is returned, but the remaining tortoise not eating and wondering aimlessly as the article states, is typical of a tortoise that has been used to a pair dynamic for decades to seek out the rival. As we all know, they hate any kind of change, even the good ones. The remaining tortoise is stressed from the change, not the loss of a companionthe remaining tortoise will likely settle in good time and no longer be under constant stress being housed with another male.

If that's them in the pic of the article, they look very small for how old they are.
The owner better protect the one they didn't take, they might be back for it.

It seems that Warrior is staying with a friend incase he gets taken as well. Just wondering if there's a chance that the other one could have escaped but anyhow I hope he turns up. Any new owner would need to find out how to look after him.

Hope they return him or is found. If they don't, I hope they at least see the article so they can try to give the meds he might need.
