Hi Everone,

I am going away for a week soon to a cottage and need to take our two hermanns with us. Both 6 months old and doing well. Taking the equipment is not a problem , My main question is how is it best to keep them sage and happy while travelling. Its a 3 hour car journey. Shall I put them in pet carriers with a towel? newspaper? a hot water bottle ?
I would appreciate any help with this
Thanks

As long as you're taking all their equipment (I'm guessing that means their enclosure?), just keep them in their enclosure. If you think it will be cold on the three hour trip, there's a product on the market called "Hot hands". You can put that in with them to keep them warm. If they don't sell Hot Hands in the UK, do a Google search for hand and foot warmers.

Hello,
Thanks for that. I will be taking the enclosure but as in the UK it will be cold and wondered whether they would be better in a carier that I could make more snug and secure?

You can wrap the enclosure in blankets. But a carrier would be fine too.
