Hi Everyone,

I'm new here so please excuse any newbie like questions!

A couple of years ago we found a baby tort in the middle of the road with a cracked shell. We brought her home and she's been living with us since. Shell has healed and she has taken to following us around the house when she is out of her enclosure (including our dog to his frustration! :D), a proper little member of the household!

Now, however, we are moving from Greece to Nottingham and I'm wondering what the situation is in bringing her with us. Is it possible and, if so, what kind of papers would I need to get her etc. Certificate of health and a C.I.T.E.S document?

Thanks very much for your time!

Al

P.S. This is her last year.

Seems to me I remember reading somewhere that rules about bringing turtles/tortoises into and out of countries are pretty strict. You would be best served trying to contact someone in an official status to get the scoop. But wait a little while for more of our members to read your thread. We may have someone here who has knowledge of this.
