I have this tree growing in my neighbor's yard, and its flowers fall over the porch where I keep Henry outside during the day. I don't know if the flowers are edible or poisonous for tortoises. I think it's a royal paulownia tree, but I'm not sure. I've attached a pic here. Any ideas? I've been keeping Henry inside because of this darn tree, so any insight would be helpful :)

That's a tough one to find on the toxicity lists. Most all I could find is that its a very invasive tree, but nothing is ever said about toxicity. I would play it safe on this one and keep the flowers away from your tortoise. The tree comes from China, and if your tortoise doesn't come from China, I would think he can't eat it.

I agree with emysemys. These flowers have very sticky sap, and I know the sap is an irritant to humans, so it is probably harmful to tortoises. I would hang a bird net or something above the enclosure, so that the flowers fall on that, rather than in with the tortoises...
