Tucson Tortoise Tour at the Zoo

Reid Park Zoo will graciously take us for a personally guided tour of the Tortoise facilities for $10 a head, minimum of 10 people or $100.

Most of the Torts are everywhere in different pens that take advantage of the wasted space between the sidewalks and the actual animal exhibits. There are also dedicated pens.

They do have some areas closed to the public that we may get to see.

Maybe we can organize a July 10th event?

what type and how many torts do they have? are people from california allowed into arizona? i think my county banned people from visiting or doing business or something like that...lol

The date above is just a date. We can go at anytime.

Tort types, couldn't answer that one. Just happy to see the mechanics of a Zoo and see some Torts up close. Some will check out the Tort butts, others will want to see pics of Tort poo. Takes all kinds.
