Does anyone know whether Tunisian spur-thighed tortoises (Testudo graeca nabeulensis) have been imported into the US? I'm struck by their beauty and wonder if it's possible to find one.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,
I do believe some were mixed in with the Libyan greeks that came in in the early 90's. I do believe I had a male, but he past away along with the Libyans I had at the time.
If anymore came in I don't think they made it, as I have not seen any since.
