I choose reds cause they are the most common species here in Puerto Rico and this is the tropics so is not difficult to take care of them.

Makes perfect sense! I was a little worried about keeping the humidity level right as ours would be spending a lot of their lives, mainly winters, indoors due to climate here in New Jersey. So we went with the Greeks. A little easier to keep levels right :)

Thats very nice!
Here in my home is surrounded by trees so the humidity is always high. Their enclosure is always at 99% hum and the temp here is always over 85F so my torts dont use the basking area. I just turn on the lights when Im at the house when they are eating. So is great for them.

Took a bath outside today. I think it's their first time seeing the sun. They'll definitely be out here everyday now that they're with us!
