I've been using a few filters and the current one I'm using stopped working.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a good filter?
Anyone have experience with canister filters?
I have a few sliders so... They're very messy :p

I'm a big fan of RENA/API XP series. Go witn an XP-L or XP-XL depending on volume you're looking to filter. A fluval 305/6 or 405/6 would be a fine choice, as well. IMO, the FX5 isn't worth what you'd pay for it. Its mainly mechanical, not biological.

I use an aquatop cf series. For my 55 gallon I have the cf-300 and my uncle uses the cf-500 for his 75 gal.
