what did you make the enclosure form? or did you buy it? it really does look nice

Thanks. It's just plywood framed with 2x2s. I did spend a tad more and buy the precut plywood just because their cuts tend to be better than mine when I only have a circular saw. And the front opening is framed by a 2x6 on top and bottom with some plexiglass that slides in a metal c-channel. Then I painted the entire thing with exterior paint. And used a shower liner in the bottom to help with moisture.

I planted some tortoise mix seeds but I didn't give them much time before moving the new residents in so not sure they're going to take. May have to try and start some small pots and get a plant or two in there.

Tomorrow marks 1 year since these two arrived in my possession so I figured I'd post an update. Figure if I tried to wait til tomorrow I'd forget so one day early will just have to work.

Tort 1 (weighed 32 grams 364 days ago) -

Tort 2 (weighed 37 grams 364 days ago) -

Guess I can't say there is no pyramiding but am I doing alright so far?

Started some work on their future room, did a little wiring and been picking up some fixtures and shelving.

They look great, but I noticed tort 2 is very light colored. I see this every now and then. What causes it?

Thanks!

You're doing excellent! You have a beautiful pair of leopards, they look extremely healthy and the pyramiding you're seeing is only because you look very intently because you care so much, to everyone else there's no pyramiding. Keep updating!

Thanks. I think it's just variation because both came from the same breeder and the one that's coming in the lightest now originally started the darkest. But I'd defer to somebody with much more experience than I.

Some updated photos. Will have to make sure I check their weights soon since it’s coming up on 2years in April.

And just keeping tabs on tail sizes, first up the light one:

They look great. You look to have a pair so far. The dark one is definitely a young male

Thanks. Would be cool to end up with a pair but won’t hold my breath. Think they’re finally settling in to the new digs. They hid a lot for the first week or more. Now they’re out a lot more. Can’t tell if they use the back half of the room much but they don’t spend all their time in the hide so that’s nice.

Needed to take some updates pictures. Been a while. So here they are. I *think* the big one (2165 grams) is a female:

And I’m pretty confident this one is a male. He’s smaller (1550 grams), but he decided to show his stuff the other day while soaking.
