UVB light

I have an Arcadia UVB floodlight, which I keep on for 12hours along with the basking lamp .. There is also a bulbs that is a basking lamp but also gives out UVB ? So when it basks it still gets UVB , would this be good to get ?
This is pic of my floodlight its exactly the same as this and it cost me 100 pounds !

I hate it when companies start using terms to intentionally confuse consumers.

THAT is not a "flood" bulb. The designation "flood bulb" is for incandescent bulbs that direct their light and heat in a broad beam downward. A "spot" bulb is the same thing with a more narrowly focused downward beam. YOUR bulb is a cfl (compact florescent lamp). I have no experience with the Arcadia brand, but the cfl bulbs available here in the US sometimes damage tortoise eyes. Personally, I would not use one of those. The other bulb you mentioned that gives off heat and UV at the same time is called a Mercury Vapor Bulb (MVB). Those work well and I've never seen one harm a tortoises eyes.
