recently adopted a red foot from an owner who can't take care of her anymore (looks like a her from the plastron). From my readings it seems that they love mushrooms. Gave it a bit of portobello and the king mushrooms and I have never seen it eat anything this fast except maybe the fig I gave it. Now I know buying it from the store is easier, but I do like growing stuff so I want to give this a try ( I grow an assortment of grasses and broad leaf greens for my sulcata). Any one have any experience growing mushrooms? Not looking to grow a lot, just enough for the torts (and maybe me lol).
