So i got a Jade Plant from PETCO, and I put it in without really washing it the tortoise ate some of it and then I decided i was going to just rinse it with water.. So I did that and put it back in.

Since I bought it from Petco dont you think they wouldnt put any chemicals or anything on it?

Also they had those white chunks in the soil of the little plastic pot.. So when I planted the Jade plant in the Tank I planted it in the pot and covered up the pot so now my bedding is covering it.. do you think this will be okay or should I just take it out?

To be safe, I would always assume that everything you buy has chemicals.
I would replant the Jade in regular soil. The "little white things" can be eaten by the tortoise and cause problems. You cna't hide anything from them. 😊
