Yesterday my wife and I went to pick up a 6.5 inch, 1090 g radiated tortoise. I think is a male Radiated Tortoise. Took to the Vet for a examination and checked out OK.

He will go through a 72 hours quarantine in a tank then we will introducing him to one other Rads we have.

He is eating, drinking and sleeping well so far. Just a lovely guy. My wife can pat him on the head and tickle his chin without him retract back into his carapace.

A story of Love of first sight..........

Luckily my wife also love tortoise. She is the main care taker of them, she feed, bath, and clean after them.

My job is the built all the enclosure for them. They each (breed) have summer and winter palaces of their own.

We just love them.

Very nice group you have there. The leopard is very nice as well. May i know what is the green powder coated on the salads? Is it hay or supplement powder? My radiated is little bit choosy with his diet. He only wants to graze somehow. Do you guys know how to boost appetite on torts?
