Weird white thing around my Russian tortoises mouth

Hi recently I’ve ntocidd some white stuff that have been arpumd my russian tortoises mouth at first I thought it was calcium so I wiped it off but literally 1 hour later it came back does anyone know what it is? Also I am aware that his beak needs trimming :(

Your best bet is to take him to a vet to get it trimmed.

The scales on his head look so dry and crusty to me when zoomed in. Do you soak him daily?

I can't really see anything white on his mouth. We need a picture of his mouth.

In the meantime put him in a nice warm soak. Use a soft toothbrush to very gently clean the top of his head and his beak and around his mouth.

Goodness, your tortoise needs a beak trim before you worry about anything else. Do you have a vet you can take him to? If not someone here can give you advice on how to do it safely at home (it’s harder on you than the tortoise!)
