Atlas is doing well, and is now about 2.5in long at about 4.5m old. Here are some pictures of Atlas chowing down on some aloe. I got a new little aloe plant and a leaf broke in transport, so a delicious snacktime for Atlas!!!
A store near me just started selling little opituna cactus plants. I am purchasing two to grow for some fresh tortie snacks over the winter.Picture_20190813_204214447.jpg Picture_20190813_204312684.jpg

So gorgeous <3

Hanging out in their new soak container(ie. An old icecream tub). I had to use a new one, because Atlas outgrew the old and could get a leg over the edge and flip themself...no thanks!!!

20190829_111818.jpg Atlas was 5 months on the 28th! Growing well and just a superb little thing.
Colouration of the skin is really changing now, darkening on top of the head and in some other places, and has taken on a bit of an orange colour! Very beautiful I think. Just over 2.5in scl now, I believe. Still no spurs developed!
Anyway, here is my cutie!

Atlas is nearly 7 months old. They are growing well! The first picture in the side by side is 10 weeks old, when Atlas came home! I am absolutely blown away at the colour and shape changes. At 10 weeks they were pale yellow with a squared off shell shape. Now they have a beautifully rounded shell, and rich orange colouring. Still lacking spurs! I do not think my thighspur will ever sport spurs!inCollage_20191021_170027732.jpg 20191021_165102.jpg 20191021_165108.jpg

No recent updates because we moved houses and towns! Of course Atlas came along for the ride!

Atlas is creeping up on 10 months old. Just a beautiful, lovely animal. Now exactly 3in SCL. Growth and appetite has slowed slightly in the winter months, but still doing amazing. I'm very proud of the quality and smoothness of growth!

Things have been busy, but Atlas is still doing well. They got a bit sleepy over the winter but never hibernate. Just slower. All woke up and normal activity level now that the weather has improved.

Just a beautiful animal.
This is not a staged picture, from tonight, of Atlas eating some lunch with a pal.

Long time, no update!

Atlas is doing well. Now 3y4m old, and 4.5in SCL. They never did grow spurs. Still a gentle little critter who we adore! Hard to believe this is the little two inch hatchling I brought home 3 years ago!!20220820_073202.jpg20220820_072451.jpg20220820_074127.jpg20220820_073154.jpg
