Cool I like your reply but I have my own idea how about I just make a hole and make it the same circumference as the ceramic part where you put it inside of the thing to make it turn on
It could with a metal top.
A CHE and its dome get hot enough to melt plastic and give off fumes, etc

That may work, but something larger would be optimal. That size would last maybe 4ish months before the tortoise feels really crowded. You could spend a little more money now, and you would save a substantial amount in the future.

That was the biggest I could find in Walmart
