What fruits can I feed my russian tortoise?

I got my tortoise yesterday and I got a list of only greens to feed it. I would like to know if there are any fruits I can give it. It's a juvenile. Not a baby baby but not full grown. :)

None. Fruit should be given very sparingly or not at all as it frequently leads to diarrhea, intestinal parasite proliferation, and colic. A strawberry every couple of weeks might be an ok treat, or a bite of melon. But an occasional treat only.

Hello and welcome.

Is that your tortoise in your avatar? That doesn't look like a Russian tortoise on my little screen. Can we see some pics to verify species for you?

Broadleaf weeds along with certain leaves and flowers should make up the majority of your tortoises diet. I would not feed any fruit at all to a russian.
