what is "normal" weight gain for a hatchling/juv?

I have a Hermann's that is almost a year old (I think) and my daughter has one a few months younger. Mine grew a little over a gram a week in the beginning and now gains about 3 grams/week. Hers barely gains 1 gram a week. Is mine growing too fast? Hers growing too slow? They are eating the same thing (weeds, spring mix, Mazuri, cactus pads). Mine eats like a pig, though.

I can tell you that ours grow at different rates from each other. Some grow the same, others do not. My thoughts it is very hard to get an exact what should be, too many variable, etc. As long as they are gaining and growing, it is a good sign.

You can use this jacksons ratio calculator to see if their weights are correct for their straight carapace length, it is what i use for my hermanns : )
